  • Arriving by Bus or Car
    Valencia has a modern road network that makes it easily accessible from any city, both in the Iberian peninsula and further afield.

    The Mediterráneo AP-7 motorway, which runs the whole length of the Spanish Mediterranean coastline from north to south, connects with the European motorway network, the A-23 Sagunto-Somport motorway and the A-3 Madrid-Valencia motorway. Most of the passenger services operating in Valencia, both national and international, begin and end at Valencia Bus Station.

    There are two main train stations within the city's metropolitan area.

    Valencia has its own city centre station for the local train network (cercanías), which consists of six lines that connect Valencia to Gandía, Mogente, Utiel, Xirivella, Caudiel and Castellón de la Plana.

    BUS:
    Lines 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 14, 19, 35, 40 and 63 (bus stops close to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento).

    JOAQUIN SOROLLA STATION FOR THE VALENCIA HIGH-SPEED TRAIN (AVE)

    From the high-speed train station, the AVE trains connect the city to Madrid, Cuenca and Albacete, with 17 daily departures and an approximate journey time of 1 hour 30 minutes. In addition, the Alaris and Euromed long-distance trains connect Valencia with Spain's main cities.

    SHUTTLE BUS:
    Present your train ticket to travel for free to Estación del Norte, located in the city centre.

    Valencia Airport is located eight kilometers to the west of the city.

    AIRPORT-CITY CENTER CONNECTION

    By metro:

    Line 5 (Aeroport-Marítim Serrería) runs between the airport and the city center, the university area and the north zone of the metropolitan area.
    Line 3 (Rafelbunyol-Aeroport) runs directly from the airport to the city center and the port of Valencia.
    Fare to/from the city center: €3,90.
    Approximate journey time: 20 minutes.

    By bus:
    City bus route 150 (Metrobus) runs between the airport and Valencia city center, with intermediate stops at Mislata, Quart de Poblet and Manises.
    Fare: €1.45.
    Approximate journey time: 40 minutes.

    By taxi:
    The taxi service is run by city taxis from Valencia and Manises. The journey from the airport has a supplement of €5.40.

    By car:
    The V-11 road connects the Airport to V-30 (bypass around the city of Valencia) via the A-3 motorway (Madrid-Valencia)."
