Prof. Marsha Berger
Marsha Berger is a professor at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, at New York University. Her research has focused on adaptive and Cartesian mesh methods for computational fluid dynamics. She is a SIAM fellow and a member of both the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Engineering. She is also a member of the Cart3D team that won NASA's Software of the Year award in 2002 and IEEE's Fernbach award in 2004. Marsha earned her M.S and Ph.D. at Stanford University.
