Bertrand Iooss
Bertrand Iooss obtained a Master in Statistics and Random Models in Finance in 1995 from University Paris VII. Further he defended (1998) his Ph.D thesis in Geostatistics at the Paris School of Mines, and his habilitation (2009) in Statistics at the University Toulouse III. He is currently a senior researcher at EDF R&D, a research associate in the Mathematical Institute of Toulouse and one of the coordinators of the GdR MASCOT-NUM (http://www.gdr-mascotnum.fr). He is also in charge of the Project “Uncertainty management and numerical model validation” in the CEA-EDF-Framatome Research Institute. His research interests include realiability engineering, computer experiments modelling, sensitivity analysis, geostatistics, sampling techniques, nuclear safety.
